The Penn Relays Summer Showcase #3 presented by Toyota has had some exciting developments over the past few days and we are thrilled to announce that the event has been promoted to be a World Athletics Challenger Meet on the World Athletics Continental Tour. This means that the event will now accrue additional World Athletics points for those athletes in the event looking for points towards qualification of this summer's Olympic Games in Paris.
In addition the event will now have prize money!
Top 3 Men's and Women's marks based on World Athletics scoring tables will be eligible for the following prize money:

The Penn Relays Summer Showcase presented by Toyota was created as an all-comers event to be run in Franklin Field for all ages and ability levels. This has not changed and the event remains open to anyone and everyone that would like to run on the historic track in Franklin Field. Registration will remain open until Thursday, June 27th at 11:59pm EST online, and can be done in person on Saturday.

6:50 p.m.: Men's 800m
7:10 p.m.: Women's 800m
7:20 p.m.: Women's 100m final

8:00 p.m.: Men's 3000m Steeplechase
The event is free to attend as a spectator and we encourage everyone to come out and watch this final step on the way to the Olympic Games this summer in Paris!

The Penn Relays is excited to announce that the Penn Relays Summer Showcase Series presented by Toyota is coming to Franklin Field for three dates in June! Join us on June 1st, 22nd and 29th for your chance to race in the Historic Franklin Field!

The cost is $25 per event and is paid during registration on Direct Athletics.
"We are thrilled to be able to open up the gates of Franklin Field to runners of all ages for the Penn Relays Summer Showcase Series," said Aaron Robison, Associate Director of the Penn Relays. "This annual event will allow runners of all abilities, ages, and experience levels to race on this historic track! Come see what the magic is all about."
All three dates will follow the same schedule and will begin at 5 p.m., spreading across four hours of five different individual track events. Reference below for the tentative schedule.
The event is open to all ages and ability levels and you will be placed in heats accordingly. Also new this year, the event will be on the World Athletics Global Calendar thus allowing athletes to accumulate points towards the 2024 Paris Olympic Games!
