Penn Relays Summer Showcase. Final Details:

1. Venue change. Due to the smoke coming into the area from the Canadian fires and the threat of severe thunderstorms in the area tomorrow, we have moved the event into the Ott Center. 
2. Ott Center. The Ott Center is located on Penn's campus just off of South Street. https://facilities.upenn.edu/maps/locations/Ott-Center-for-Track-and-Field
3. Parking. We encourage everyone that is driving to the area to park at the Penn Museum lot and then walk over to the facility. The easiest way to do this is to walk to the Hollenback Center on South Street and then take the stairs down to River Fields Drive. 
4. Ott Center. The doors to the Ott Center will be opened for all competitors starting at 4:30pm. Please do not come earlier than that as you will not be permitted to enter until that time.

7. Check-in. We will do all clerking from underneath the Penn Olympians banner in the building. You do not need to do anything special for check-in. We will be seeding all of the races prior to event and will place everyone in an event with others of similar age and ability level. 
8. Scratches. If you have any scratches, please take care of them at the clerking table with the officials. There will be no refunds for scratches that take place after the registration deadline. 
9. Day of Registration. We do allow day-of registration that can be done at the clerking table during the event. The price for day-of registration is $35 and must be paid via cash or with credit card. 
10. World Athletics. All of the events will still be on the WA calendar and will allow athletes to acquire WA points as well as qualify for upcoming championships. 
11. 100m changed to 60m. Because of the dimensions of the indoor facility, the 100m will be changed to a 60m dash. We will still run prelims and finals as we had planned outdoor. 
12. Elite Men's 3000m. We received a request from USATF to add an elite Men's 3000m. This will be added at the end of the event after the 60m final. This event is being added to help Noah Bontrager hit the World U20s qualifying time of 8:04.00 so that Noah can represent the US at the World U20 Championships in Oregon in August. This is being set up similar to the steeplechase we set up for James Corrigan in 2024. Anyone that has run 8:30 or faster in the 3000m is welcome to register for the event, but we ask everyone else to refrain as we do not want too many people on the track. We will only be running this one elite section.
