This past week, the Caribbean was struck by the catastrophic Hurricane Melissa, causing tremendous damage throughout the region — most notably in Jamaica. Our Caribbean friends have long been an integral part of the Penn Relays in every way, from the athletes and coaches to the fans who bring such incredible energy and spirit each year. We are deeply saddened to see the devastation this storm has caused. In an effort to support those affected and help the region recover, we encourage anyone who wishes to contribute to consider getting involved through the trusted relief organizations listed below. Every bit of support can make a meaningful difference as these communities begin to rebuild.

- Team Jamaica Bickle is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support services for Caribbean athletes to attend and compete in the Penn Relays every year. Hurricane Melissa has disrupted schools, communities, and the training of Jamaica's young student-athletes. Team Jamaica Bickle is rallying to restore nutrition, education, and athletic programs for students preparing for the 2026 ISSA Boys & Girls Championships and the Penn Relays. Your gift helps them rebuild, refocus, and represent Jamaica with pride. Give Hope. Fuel a Dream. 💚💛🖤
The true beauty of sport—and especially the Penn Relays—comes from the fierce competition we share on the track and in the field, and the deep respect, love, and friendship we show one another beyond it. The Penn Relays has always been a celebration of unity and sportsmanship, and we are deeply grateful to see our community come together to support our friends in this time of need.
Sincerely,
The Penn Relays Administration
