A native Pennsylvanian, Williams first ran at the Penn Relays for Miami, and in 2004 she won the 100-meter championship after setting a meet record 11.10 in the heats. Tied but not broken, her mark remains the Carnival record. After turning pro she has represented United States teams in the USA vs. the World series, winning seven watches on sprint relay teams.
