The outstanding female collegiate athlete of the Relays in 1982, Fitzgerald set Carnival records in the 100m Hurdles in 1981, '82 and '83, and won the Olympic Development hurdles in 1984 as well. An outstanding sprinter, she also ran the 100m and 4x100m for Tennessee.
