John Muir (Pasadena, Ca) High School ‘97
A two-time participant at the Relays, Moore was selected the Outstanding Male High School Relay Event Athlete each time as he anchored winning 4x400-meter relays in 1996 and ’97. His John Muir team missed the meet record by less than a half-second the first time, but in 1997 the foursome ran 3:08.72 setting a Carnival Record that lasts to this day. Moore’s split of 45.08 in the ’07 race equaled the fastest high school leg at the Relays to that time.
